Jawlah

Overview

Jawlah is the first 100% Arabic interactive games platform built for live streamers. The streamer starts a round from the dashboard, and viewers join straight from chat with simple commands: no downloads, no sign-ups, no extensions. The result is a livelier stream and an audience that plays instead of just watching.

The platform ships with more than 8 games, from "Jawlah Roulette" to trivia and group challenges, and works with all major streaming platforms. Streamers using Jawlah report up to 3× longer engagement compared with a regular stream.

Jawlah is free for streamers and viewers alike, and streamers can make it their own through the asset store: backgrounds, effects and visual elements that match their channel's identity.

The challenge

Arabic content on streaming platforms is growing fast, but every interaction tool was foreign: English interfaces, games that did not fit local taste, and an experience that asked viewers to install an app or extension before they could join. Arab streamers were spending their time explaining how to play instead of playing with their audience.

The technical challenge was just as real: thousands of viewers sending commands in the same second, with the result expected on stream instantly and no lag to kill the momentum.
